Young dog Aang is waiting for his luck in our area! Aang's start in life was anything but easy: Already at a few months old, he ended up in a Romanian killing station and had to fear for his life there. When we found him, the little furry nose was cowering, severely emaciated, and completely alone in a corner. Fortunately, Aang could be rescued in time and rehabilitated in an animal shelter. He now lives in a foster home in Germany and is waiting to finally find his forever home. Aang is an approximately one-year-old, gentle young dog, currently about 49 cm tall and around 20 kg in weight. At his foster home, he shows himself as a loving, sensitive, and increasingly curious companion who is discovering his surroundings step by step. With each day, he gains a little more trust and dares to take another small step forward whether it’s through cautious approaches, curious glances, or first brave steps. In quiet moments, he greatly enjoys tender cuddles and seeks out human company. It’s especially beautiful to watch how proud he is when he masters new situations. Even though he has already made good progress, Aang is still very unsure and anxious due to his past. He shows himself eager to learn and motivated, but he still has a long way to go. Therefore, he is looking for people with patience, understanding, and the willingness to continue training him consistently and lovingly. With clear structures and considerate leadership, Aang learns quickly and shows how much potential he has. If nothing hits the furry nose, please delete the entire container. We suspect that in Pflegehund Aang a Livestock Guardian Dog (LGD) is involved. Please inform yourself here about the requirements for adopting a Livestock Guardian Dog. LGD mixes are often very independent and require sovereign guidance. Pflegehund Aang has a cropped ear/ two cropped ears/ a cropped tail. Many dogs in Romania have these removed to make the animals look more dangerous. Pflegehund Aang is still underweight. On the streets or in killing stations, the animals usually receive too little or nothing to eat, causing them to severely lose weight. However, our furry friend is being fed again at the animal shelter and hopefully will soon be back to normal weight. Pflegehund Aang was infected with Parvovirus. Luckily, the little one survived the virus. Our adoption team knows best about his exact health condition. If you have any questions, feel free to send us a message. For Aang, we wish a calm and loving home with people who enjoy accompanying him on his journey. A slightly rural environment or suburban location would help him develop further calmly and gain security. A garden would be nice, but it’s not a necessity. Older children and cats are conceivable in his future home. Aang needs dog-experienced people to teach him dog basics, as he is still a young dog eager to learn a lot. A confident only dog could wonderfully provide him with orientation and additional security. This way, he can develop into a loyal and reliable companion. We wish for this furry nose people with patience, empathy, and perseverance – and with the understanding that shelter dogs often come with a certain history. How exactly they react to the new life in Germany cannot always be fully predicted in advance. Junghund Aang wartet in 31812 Bad Pyrmont auf sein Glück! Aangs Start ins Leben war alles andere als leicht: Schon als wenige Monate alter Welpe landete er in einer rumänischen Tötungsstation und musste dort um sein Leben fürchten. Als wir ihn fanden, kauerte die kleine Fellnase verängstigt, stark abgemagert und völlig allein in einer Ecke. Zum Glück konnte Aang rechtzeitig gerettet und in einem Tierheim aufgepäppelt werden. Inzwischen lebt er auf einer Pflegestelle in Deutschland und wartet darauf, endlich sein Für-immer-Zuhause zu finden. Aang ist ein etwa einjähriger, sanfter Junghund, aktuell rund 49 cm groß und etwa 20 kg schwer. Auf seiner Pflegestelle zeigt er sich als liebevoller, sensibler und zunehmend neugieriger Begleiter, der seine Umwelt Schritt für Schritt entdeckt. Mit jedem Tag gewinnt er etwas mehr Vertrauen und traut sich ein kleines Stück weiter vor – sei es durch vorsichtige Annäherungen, neugierige Blicke oder erste mutige Schritte. In ruhigen Momenten genießt er sanfte Streicheleinheiten sehr und sucht die Nähe zum Menschen. Besonders schön ist zu beobachten, wie stolz er auf sich ist, wenn er neue Situationen meistert. Auch wenn er bereits gute Fortschritte macht, ist Aang aufgrund seiner Vergangenheit derzeit noch sehr unsicher und ängstlich. Er zeigt sich lernwillig und motiviert, hat jedoch noch einen längeren Weg vor sich. Deshalb sucht er Menschen mit Geduld, Verständnis und der Bereitschaft, weiterhin konsequent und liebevoll mit ihm zu trainieren. Mit klaren Strukturen und einfühlsamer Führung lernt Aang schnell und zeigt, wie viel Potenzial in ihm steckt. Für Aang wünschen wir uns ein ruhiges und liebevolles Zuhause bei Menschen, die Freude daran haben, ihn auf seinem Weg zu begleiten. Eine eher ländliche Umgebung oder Vorstadtlage würde ihm helfen, sich entspannt weiterzuentwickeln und Sicherheit zu gewinnen. Ein Garten wäre schön, ist aber kein Muss. Ältere Kinder und Katzen sind in seinem zukünftigen Zuhause vorstellbar. Aang braucht hundeerfahrene Menschen, die ihm das Hunde 1×1 beibringen, da er noch ein junger Hund ist, der noch viel lernen möchte. Ein souveräner Ersthund könnte ihm dabei wunderbar Orientierung geben und ihm zusätzliche Sicherheit schenken. So kann er sich zu einem treuen und verlässlichen Begleiter entwickeln. Wir wünschen uns für diese Fellnase Menschen mit Geduld, Empathie und Durchhaltevermögen – und mit dem Verständnis dafür, dass Tierschutzhunde oft bereits eine gewisse Geschichte mitbringen. Wie genau sie auf das neue Leben in Deutschland reagieren, lässt sich nie vollständig vorhersagen. Aber eines ist sicher: Wer adoptiert statt kauft , schenkt nicht nur einem Tier eine zweite Chance, sondern entscheidet sich aktiv gegen Tierleid – und für ein Leben mit einem ganz besonderen Gefährten an der Seite.
