Pflegestellen gesucht

Female · Young · 1 year

Our emergency shelter ASIPA is overflowing, we need to create space. We want to save as many animals as possible and get them through the harsh winter. Many animals will die outside, especially the young and small ones – the Romanian winters are hard, cold, and long. We are looking for people who will open their hearts and homes to dogs in need of a chance! Many dogs from animal welfare organizations need to live in foster homes before they are placed in shelters. This gives us the opportunity to provide a safe, loving, and species-appropriate home for the dogs. In this environment, we can address the dogs' needs to then place them in a new home. The ideal conditions in a foster home are: - People with experience in handling and training dogs - A house or large apartment with a securely fenced garden in a quiet area - A home without children, as most dogs from animal welfare organizations cannot handle children initially - The awareness that the dog will not be rehomed within a short time but will also stay in the foster home for a longer period Our organization will take care of any vet costs, liability insurance, and the active rehoming of the dog. Depending on the conditions and experiences you can offer the dogs, we will together find the right dog for your position. Many animal welfare dogs are traumatized, but through our loving caregivers at the emergency shelter ASIPA, we get very good descriptions of the dogs. There are also many dogs that are very people-oriented and friendly, but the everyday life in the animal shelter does not suit them. Or the small dogs that cannot spend the winter in a cold enclosure. The indoor spaces are absolutely limited to very few. Please help the animals! A dog coming to Germany makes room for a dog that needs to be saved in Romania. Do you have the possibility to provide a foster home? Or do you have any further questions? Then contact us via email. About Pflegestellen gesucht

What life with Pflegestellen gesucht looks like

Pflegestellen gesucht is a large young adult dog waiting at Förderverein Tiernothilfe Siebenbürgen e.V. in Germany.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pflegestellen gesucht, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pflegestellen gesucht?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Förderverein Tiernothilfe Siebenbürgen e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pflegestellen gesucht on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pflegestellen gesucht if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Förderverein Tiernothilfe Siebenbürgen e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pflegestellen gesucht already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pflegestellen gesucht isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Förderverein Tiernothilfe Siebenbürgen e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pflegestellen gesucht and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
