She lived for a long time in a large group of street dogs and had to learn to take care of herself. For her, contact with humans has not meant safety but uncertainty, and this is reflected in her current behavior. Since she came into our care, she has shown extreme fear and reclusiveness. At the moment, she does not allow herself to be touched and prefers to observe from a distance. However, the shelter is not an appropriate place for such a sensitive soul. It is loud, dirty, and lacks the time to devote itself to Pia intensively. Despite her fear, Pia is not an aggressive female dog; she is simply overwhelmed by the situation. She knows life in a pack with other dogs and looks to them for guidance. We can imagine that a confident single dog could greatly help her. We cannot yet say anything about her compatibility with cats. Pia is approximately 2 years old and of medium size. Her black-and-white spotted fur makes her a real standout, and from her large brown eyes, she looks with a quiet but hopeful expression. We are looking for a quiet, patient home with dog-experienced people for her. She needs time to adjust at her own pace and realize that humans no longer pose a threat. At 2 years old, she has just gone through puberty. Nevertheless, several challenges will undoubtedly await the new human-dog team. She needs people who can approach her with love and patience, give her time to adjust, and forgive her occasional mishaps. A visit to dog training classes could also be a meaningful addition after a certain period of getting used to things. Leash walking, house training, and being left alone are still foreign concepts to Pia. She will test her limits and may even forget what she has learned. Sie lebte lange Zeit in einer größeren Gruppe von Straßenhunden und musste lernen, auf sich selbst aufzupassen. Der Kontakt zum Menschen bedeutete für sie bisher keine Sicherheit, sondern Unsicherheit und genau das spiegelt sich aktuell in ihrem Verhalten wider. Seit sie in unserer Obhut ist, zeigt sie sich sehr ängstlich und zurückgezogen. Im Moment lässt sie sich noch nicht anfassen und beobachtet lieber aus der Distanz. Das Shelter ist allerdings auch kein geeigneter Ort für eine so sensible Seele. Es ist laut, dreckig und es fehlt vorne und hinten an Zeit, um sich intensiv mit Pia zu beschäftigen. Trotz ihrer Angst ist Pia keine aggressive Hündin, sie ist lediglich völlig überfordert mit der Situation. Mit anderen Hunden kennt sie das Leben im Rudel und orientiert sich an ihnen. Wir können uns also gut vorstellen, dass ein souveräner Ersthund ihr sehr helfen könnte. Über ihre Verträglichkeit mit Katzen können wir derzeit noch nichts sagen. Pia ist etwa 2 Jahre alt und mittelgroß. Ihr schwarz-weiß gepunktetes Fell macht sie zu einer echten Besonderheit, und aus ihren großen braunen Kulleraugen blickt sie einen leise, aber voller Hoffnung an. Für sie suchen wir ein ruhiges, geduldiges Zuhause bei hundeerfahrenen Menschen. Sie benötigt Zeit, in ihrem eigenen Tempo anzukommen und zu merken, dass Menschen keine Gefahr mehr für sie darstellen. Mit ihren 2 Jahren hat sie die Pubertät gerade hinter sich. Dennoch werden bestimmt noch einige Herausforderungen auf das neue Mensch-Hund-Team warten. Sie benötigt Menschen, die mit viel Liebe und Geduld vorgehen, sie in Ruhe ankommen lassen und ihr das ein oder andere Missgeschick verzeihen. Ein Besuch in der Hundeschule kann, nach einer gewissen Eingewöhnungszeit, auch eine sinnvolle Ergänzung sein. Leinenführung, Stubenreinheit und Alleinbleiben sind für Pia noch Fremdwörter. Sie wird ihre Grenzen testen und möglicherweise bereits Erlerntes wieder vergessen. Doch nachdem man diese Phase überwunden hat, wird sie ganz bestimmt eine wunderbare Begleiterin fürs Leben werden. Pia ist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Sie bringt einen EU-Heimtierausweis mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr in ihre neue Familie ziehen.
