Meet Pianka – a gentle kitten who is just learning that humans can be her best friends. Pianka is a young cat with a calm and sensitive nature. She arrived at the shelter along with her sister Burka and is now waiting for a family to show her that the world can be a safe and loving place. At first, she can be shy and needs time to get used to her new surroundings. Sometimes she observes humans from a safe distance or retreats when something worries her. This is completely natural behavior in a kitten who is just building trust. When Pianka feels more confident, she allows herself to be petted and calmly enjoys the closeness of her caregiver. She needs only patience, peace, and time to convince herself that humans mean safety, care, and affection. We are looking for a home for her that will respect her pace and not expect immediate openness. We are confident that in the right conditions, Pianka will become bolder every day and show her true feline character.
