Pica y Lila

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten · 3 months

Pica and Lila are two little kittens who arrived at Triple A with different stories, but who now share something very special: the companionship they have found in each other. ❤️ Pica is a beautiful tortoiseshell kitten who was rescued from a drainage channel on 13 June 2026, when she was barely one month old. Lila, a lovely tabby kitten, was rescued without her mother in the Bello Horizonte area of San Pedro Alcántara. She arrived at Triple A on 29 July 2026, when she was just 6 weeks old. They now share a room and, although they are not sisters, they are almost the same age and have become wonderful companions. They play together, sleep together and keep each other company as they grow. They are both a little shy at first, which is completely understandable after everything they have been through at such a young age, but they are also affectionate and playful. They enjoy being stroked and love receiving cuddles. 💛 Pica and Lila are proof that family is not always about blood ties, but also about the affection, companionship and special bonds that develop when they are needed most. We would love for them to find a home together, where they can continue growing, playing and discovering the world side by side. ✨ Adopt Pica and Lila and give them the chance to continue writing their story together. 🏡 To ensure their safety, windows and terraces must have suitable protective measures in place before adoption. 📩 Adoption enquiries: 📸 Follow us on Instagram:

About Pica y Lila

What life with Pica y Lila looks like

Pica y Lila is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Triple A Marbella in Marbella.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pica y Lila, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pica y Lila?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Triple A Marbella handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pica y Lila on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pica y Lila if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Triple A Marbella will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pica y Lila already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pica y Lila isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Triple A Marbella early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pica y Lila and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
