Piccolino is an incredibly lovable guy, wherever he appears, he immediately spreads good mood and lifts the spirits. Smilla noticed that quickly. The two of them together are simply chaotic fun and incredibly warm-hearted. It's really two that have found each other. Piccolino had a small problem when he came to us: he walks on both front paws with a pronounced plantigrade gait (bear walk), caused by a flexor tendon injury. Whether it is congenital or due to trauma, we cannot say. But he has built up a lot of muscle strength and the bear walk is hardly noticeable anymore. However, we cannot say for sure whether he might develop joint problems in the long term and may eventually need permanent pain medication. Right now, though, that's not the case: he plays, runs around and has an unstoppable joy of life. Piccolino and Smilla will only be rehomed as apartment cats. A secured balcony, or an outside area accessible from the house that is completely secured around is mandatory.

Piccolino ist ein wahnsinnig liebenswertes Kerlchen, wo er auftaucht, verbreitet er sofort gute Laune und hebt die Stimmung. Das hat auch Smilla schnell gemerkt. Die Beiden zusammen sind einfach nur chaotisch lustig und unglaublich herzlich. Da haben sich wirklich zwei gesucht und gefunden. Piccolino hat(te) aber ein kleines Problem, als er zu uns kam: er lief auf beiden Vorderläufen mit einem stark ausgeprägtem, plantigradem Gang (Bärentatzig), bedingt durch einen Beugesehnenschaden. Ob angeboren, oder durch ein Trauma können wir nicht sagen. Aber inzwischen hat er einiges an Muskulatur aufgebaut und der Bärentatzige Gang fällt kaum noch auf. Wir können aber auch nicht mit Sicherheit sagen, ob er nicht langfristig Gelenksprobleme bekommt und möglicherweise irgendwann dauerhaft Schmerzmedikation benötigt. Aktuell ist davon aber nicht die Rede: er spielt, tobt und hat eine unbändige Lebensfreude. Piccolino und Smilla werden nur als Wohnungskatzen vermittelt. Ein gesicherter Balkon, oder ein vom Haus aus zugänglicher rundum gesicherten Außenbereich sind zwingend erforderlich. Eine
