Picur - a lively and playful young female dog Picur is a little sunshine - a lively, friendly and funny young female dog. She has lived in a family with children and loves people very much. She also gets along very well with her fellow dogs and naturally enjoys playing in a way typical of her age. We are practicing with Picur walking on a leash and it's already working quite well. Since she is still young, of course, she can still be trained in her dog ABC and visiting a good dog school would definitely be fun for her Picur is a lively and loving young female dog, affectionate and cheerful. Who falls in love with her and wants to accompany her on her further life's journey? Picur is ready to travel at the end of September. Preferred direct adoption upon arrival in Switzerland or self-pickup in Hungary is possible. We would be happy to provide more information! Since Picur is too young for a castration, she is being castrated.

About Picur

What life with Picur looks like

Picur is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Your Heart 4 Rescued Dogs in Yourheart4dogs.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting Picur, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Picur?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Your Heart 4 Rescued Dogs handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Picur on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Picur if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Your Heart 4 Rescued Dogs will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Picur already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Picur isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Your Heart 4 Rescued Dogs early rather than rehoming privately; they know Picur and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
