All the cats—Pille, Palle, Fix, Foxy, Nori, Charlie—Printed and Published: July 29, 2026 Breed: Domestic European Shorthair + mixed Age: Various birth dates in 2026 Gender: Female (Palle + Nori) + Male Neutered: No Color: Black, black-and-white Housing: Outdoor/free-range or apartment Hello, dear prospective kitten adopters! We’d like to introduce you to our little gang right away—and just a quick note upfront: we don’t place kittens on their own. We don’t match them with older cats of the same species, and we also don’t place them in solitary confinement. If either of these conditions applies to you, please refrain from submitting an inquiry. However, if you’re open-minded and would like to receive some advice, we’d be delighted to connect with you. Now, let’s meet our gang: It all started with mom Pippa and her two kittens, Pille and Palle. They came to us through a friendly animal welfare organization. Later, Fix and Foxy joined the group—they weren’t accepted by their mother, Fipsy—and for a while, there were five of them together. Mom Pippa cared for the little ones with great tenderness, and she still does today. Then this small group was expanded by two stray finds: the little lady cat Nori and the smallest member of the bunch, Charlie. Now, this group of six—including mom Pippa—is a really lively bunch. By the way, if you hover your mouse over the individual photos in the gallery, the names of the kittens will appear. Each one has its own character, and each one is unique in its own way. The oldest are Pille and Palle (born April 13, 2026), followed by Fix and Foxy (born May 6, 2026), and then the other two later on. Please don’t fixate on sibling pairs, because just because they’re siblings doesn’t mean they’ll always get along in the future. We always recommend taking the following approach when “falling in love”: If you’re faced with the difficult choice and want to select a kitten, pick your favorite first. Because more often than not, their buddy—or buddy-girl—is already waiting nearby. We do not place kittens into homes where...

Alle Katzen Pille, Palle, Fix, Foxy, Nori Drucken Veröffentlicht: 29. Juli 2026 Rasse: EKH + Mix Alter: 2026 unterschiedliche Geburtsdaten Geschlecht: weiblich (Palle + Nori) + männlich Kastriert: nein Farbe: schwarz, schwarz-weiß Haltung: Freigang/Wohnung Hallöchen liebe Kitten-Interessenten.

About Pille, Palle, Fix, Foxy

What life with Pille, Palle, Fix, Foxy looks like

Pille, Palle, Fix, Foxy is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Tierheim Alsfeld in Germany.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pille, Palle, Fix, Foxy, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pille, Palle, Fix, Foxy?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Alsfeld handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pille, Palle, Fix, Foxy on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pille, Palle, Fix, Foxy if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Alsfeld will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pille, Palle, Fix, Foxy already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pille, Palle, Fix, Foxy isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Alsfeld early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pille, Palle, Fix, Foxy and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
