Adopt Pin

Mixed Breed Cat · Female

Description Our animal welfare workers report: Pin is a great cat living together with her sister Pom at a Spanish foster home. The two are hard to distinguish from each other. Pin has a small gap in the black stripe on her nose, while Pom has a dot above the black stripe. Finding any difference between them was really hard! Pin is a friendly and playful cat who also likes to lick fingers sometimes. She enjoys cuddles from us and also wants to play. She is definitely not a couch potato but someone who needs mental stimulation. It would be great if she had an age-matched playmate in her new home or if she could bring her sister along. Pin really gets along well with her sister! Pin is ready to travel and is eagerly waiting for her cat paradise with scratching posts, toys, and loving, stroking hands. Who would like to give Pin a home? The animal presented here comes from an animal shelter that houses many animals. We are searching for a loving and safe home in Germany for these animals. The descriptions are brief because there simply isn't time to provide detailed descriptions during the daily work of caring for all the animals. If interested, a detailed description can be requested by sending an email to the provided address. We will try to answer your questions as soon as possible. Home sought For Pin, we are searching for a loving, understanding home. Our cats are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and come with an EU Pass, if their age and health condition allow it. Additionally, they are tested for FELV/FIV. We look forward to your contact.

About Pin

What life with Pin looks like

Pin is a adult mixed breed cat cat waiting at Tierischgeholfen e.V. in Germany.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pin, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pin?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierischgeholfen e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pin on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pin if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierischgeholfen e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pin already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pin isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierischgeholfen e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pin and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
