Pinkie is one of our special cats. She is a sweet and affectionate cat who loves being petted. She loves being on the balcony in the fresh air, feeling the sun and observing the world. Pinkie's special talent is getting attention. With her high-pitched voice, she demands to be petted unmistakably. You can't refuse her. She enjoys every petting session and purrs. Even in the buggy, when she's out in the fresh air, she chats happily and wants to join in. She also loves playing with a cat toy. This cat is full of joy. Pinkie has a handicap: she is paralyzed from the waist down. This means Pinkie cannot stand on her hind legs. Unfortunately, the handicap also means she needs help with urinating. It can also happen that Pinkie loses urine and feces uncontrollably. The little treasure doesn't know about wearing diapers yet, but it won't be a problem to get her used to it. There are great groups on Facebook, for example, where you can get great information about the needs of paralyzed cats and where you are always helped competently. For example, it is important to express the bladder at least 3 times a day (if this is not possible, then definitely 2 times a day) so that the animal does not get health problems. Inkontinent Pinkie ist eine unserer besonderen Katzen. Sie ist eine liebe und verschmuste Katze, die Streicheleinheiten sehr genießt. Sie liebt es auf dem Balkon an der frischen Luft zu sein, die Sonne auf sich zu spüren und die Welt zu beobachten. Was Pinkie besonders gut kann: auf sich aufmerksam machen. Mit ihrem hohen Stimmchen fordert sie unmissverständlich zum Streicheln auf. Man kann es ihr aber auch nicht abschlagen. Sie genießt jede Streicheleinheit und schnurrt. Auch im Buggy, wenn sie an der frischen Luft unterwegs ist, plappert sie fröhlich drauf los und will mitreden. Mit der Katzenangel spielt sie auch sehr gern. Diese Katze steckt voller Frohsinn. Pinkie hat ein Handicap: Sie ist querschnittsgelähmt. Dies bedeutet, dass Pinkie nicht auf ihren Hinterbeinen stehen kann. Leider hat das Handicap auch zur Folge, dass sie Hilfe beim Absetzen von Urin benötigt. Es kann auch vorkommen, dass Pinkie Urin und Kot unkontrolliert verliert. Das Tragen von Windeln kennt der kleine Schatz noch nicht, aber es wird sicher kein Problem sein, sie daran zu gewöhnen. Es gibt tolle Gruppe auf Facebook z.B. wo man sich super über die Bedürfnisse von querschnittsgelähmte Katzen informieren kann und wo einem immer absolut kompetent geholfen wird. So ist es z.B. wichtig, das min. 3x am Tag (falls dies nicht möglich ist, dann def. 2x tägl.) die Blase ausgedrückt werden muss, damit das Tier keine gesundheitlichen Probleme bekommt.
