Hello there! My name is Pinocchio and I came to the animal shelter as a found cat. Now I'm looking for a new home with wonderful people. I'm a very friendly tomcat who likes to be involved – you can tell because I'm usually at the front when people enter the cat shelter. Then I have to run over and check out the situation, maybe even grab a few licks. I like to be cuddled, but I can also show my independent side when I'm satisfied and have had enough. While my age allows me to be a bit more laid-back, I especially love my naps high up in the scratching post, where I feel so comfortable – at least as long as I have my spot to myself... We come to the point that bothers me the most. The other cats. I also like to give them a good whack on the head when they get too close. So I would like to rule my future domain as a solitary prince. Anything else...? My caretakers affectionately call me "Dickerchen." And yes... they're right. A bit less belly fat would really benefit me. It would be great if you could keep that in mind and work with me on a weight reduction. A free roam in a quiet, rural environment would of course be a dream. If that's not possible due to traffic, I can also imagine a secure roam. Would you like to meet me? Then feel free to contact my caretakers at the animal shelter and make an appointment!. This cat needs outdoor access.

Hallo, ihr da! Mein Name ist Pinocchio und ich kam als Fundtier ins Tierheim, nun suche ich ein neues Zuhause bei tollen Menschen. Ich bin ein ganz toller Kater, der gerne mit dabei ist - das merkt man, weil ich fast immer am Start bin, wenn Leute das Katzenhaus betreten. Dann muss ich einfach mal zu euch laufen und die Lage abchecken, am besten noch die ein oder andere Streicheleinheit abholen. Ich werde gerne mal durchgekuschelt, kann aber auch katzentypisch zeigen, wenn ich bedient bin und genug habe. Meinem Alter entsprechend lasse ich es aber auch gerne mal ruhiger angehen. Besonders genieße ich meine Nickerchen hoch oben im Kratzbaum, da fühle ich mich so richtig wohl - zumindest so lange ich meinen Platz für mich selbst habe... Da kommen wir nämlich zu dem Punkt, der mich am meisten stört. Die anderen Katzen. Denen haue ich auch gerne mal einen über die Rübe, wenn sie mir zu nahe kommen. Über mein zukünftiges Reich möchte ich deswegen als Einzelprinz regieren. Was noch...? Von meinen Pflegern werde ich liebevoll als "Dickerchen" bezeichnet. Und ja... sie haben recht. Ein bisschen weniger Speck auf den Rippen würde mir wirklich nicht schaden. Es wäre toll, wenn ihr das auf dem Schirm habt und mit mir an einer leichten Gewichtsreduzierung arbeitet. Freigang in einer ruhigen, ländlichen Umgebung wäre natürlich ein Traum. Falls das durch die Verkehrslage nicht möglich ist, kann ich mir auch gesicherten Freigang gut vorstellen.
