Pip- 9 Week Old Kitten

Mixed Breed Cat · Female · Kitten · 4 months

Hello everyone! My name is Pip, and I’m on the lookout for my forever home. I’ve had a tough start to my short life, having lived on the streets with my mum and having very little human contact. It’s been a challenging journey, but the amazing thing about being rescued is that I’ve been placed in a loving foster home, and my confidence is growing every day! I’m a little purr monster, and I’m starting to learn how to play and be a typical kitten, which is so much fun! I’m really hoping to find a family that has the time and patience to help me adjust to my new life. I know it may take me a little while to feel completely comfortable, but I promise I’m worth the wait! I think I might be happiest living with another confident cat who can show me the ropes and help me build my confidence even more. It would be wonderful to have a furry friend to play with and learn from! As for dogs, I’m not quite sure how I feel about having a dog friend just yet, as that might be a bit too much for me right now. I could definitely live with older, calm children, as long as they understand my needs and can give me the space I might need to settle in. Once I get used to my new surroundings and grow a bit, I might enjoy pottering outside and exploring, but I’d also be perfectly happy being an indoor girl, snuggling up in a cozy spot. My adoption fee is £185, and I can’t wait to find my forever family!

About Pip- 9 Week Old Kitten

What life with Pip- 9 Week Old Kitten looks like

Pip- 9 Week Old Kitten is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at Rain Rescue in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pip- 9 Week Old Kitten, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pip- 9 Week Old Kitten?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Rain Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pip- 9 Week Old Kitten on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pip- 9 Week Old Kitten if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Rain Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pip- 9 Week Old Kitten already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pip- 9 Week Old Kitten isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Rain Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pip- 9 Week Old Kitten and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (the shelter's own language). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
