Pippa &#038

European Shorthair · Female · Kitten · 4 months

We are Pippa and Bibi... two sweet and lively kittens. This is us: We are both very people-oriented and have a very sweet nature. We approach people with a lot of curiosity and trust, enjoy every attention and love being petted or held in our arms. We especially enjoy being carried around the house and are very relaxed while doing so. With our cheerful, curious nature, we bring a lot of life and good mood into the house every day. Age-appropriately, we are very playful and active. We dash through the house together, curiously discover everything that comes into our paws, and play with each other or with their toys for hours. At the same time, we are also real cuddly cats and always seek the closeness of our humans. We also get along well with other cats. We wish... an active, loving home with people who like to play and cuddle with us. We are looking forward to space to play and romp, scratching posts and also catwalks. We are two enchanting little personalities who with their open, cuddly and playful nature will surely conquer their future family. If you would like to give us a place, please contact us via the inquiry form below.

About Pippa &#038

What life with Pippa &#038 looks like

Pippa &#038 is a puppy/kitten european shorthair cat waiting at Tierheim Berlin in Berlin.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pippa &#038, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pippa &#038?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Berlin handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pippa &#038 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pippa &#038 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Berlin will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pippa &#038 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pippa &#038 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Berlin early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pippa &#038 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
