Wellensittiche are particularly lively and active companions. They enjoy the attention of their humans and can become very friendly with a bit of patience. As a social species, they are best rehomed in pairs. If there is already one or more nice fellow animals waiting in the new home, they can also move in alone. We place our Wellensittiche in both suitable for apartment living and outdoor aviary with a shelter area. For two Wellensittiche in suitable for apartment living, the aviary should be at least 1.60 meters long, approximately 50-60 cm deep, and about 0.8 meters high (the dimensions may vary according to the aviary manufacturer) and should have a UV light that is specifically suitable for birds. Here, a daily free flight of several hours with several landing spots from natural branches should also be guaranteed. In outdoor aviary housing, the size of the aviary depends on the number of animals. Wellensittiche sind besonders lustige und aktive Begleiter. Sie genießen die Aufmerksamkeit ihrer Menschen und können mit etwas Geduld sehr zutraulich werden. Da Schwarmvögel sehr gesellig sind, werden sie mindestens zu zweit vermittelt. Wenn im neuen Zuhause bereits ein oder mehrere nette Artgenossen warten, können sie auch allein umziehen. Wir vermitteln unsere Wellensittiche sowohl in Wohnungshaltung als auch in Außenvolierenhaltung mit Schutzraum. Für zwei Wellensittiche in Wohnungshaltung sollte die Voliere mindestens 1,60 m lang, ca. 50-60 cm tief und ca. 0,8 m hoch sein (die Maße variieren je nach Volierenhersteller) und über ein UV-Licht, das speziell für Vögel geeignet ist, verfügen. Auch hier sollte täglicher Freiflug von mehreren Stunden mit mehreren Anflugstellen aus Naturästen gewährleistet sein. Bei der Außenvolierenhaltung ist die Größe der Voliere abhängig von der Anzahl der Tiere. Am besten senden Sie uns hierzu aussagekräftige Bilder der Voliere an die unten stehende E-Mail-Adresse.
