About Pippa

Found at the age of about 8 weeks, Pippa and her siblings grew up well in the Shelter. Two of them could get their own home in Germany. The remaining three, however, had unfortunately not the chance to be adopted as a puppy by a family and are still waiting for their chance. The older they become, however, the more difficult it becomes, as experience with fear dogs is necessary. Pippa spent almost her whole life in the shelter. It is not easy for puppies/young dogs that grow up so isolated from the outside world. Although they are super socialized with fellows, they lack so many everyday influences and contact with different people. They often see only the animal protectors on site for long periods of time. They don't know children, no cars, maybe they're afraid of umbrellas or people who, for example, walk on the floor, or so many other encounters. You don't know so many sounds out there and are often very scary in the first time. During our visit in September 2020 we could not touch Pippa and her siblings. She was curious, but only accompanied by her brothers. For them, we are looking for someone who knows about fear dogs, has a well fenced garden and gives Pippa all the time she needs to trust. Pippa will not be stubborn and she also knows no leash, dishes or collar. This must be learned with patience and means a great task.
