This is Pistoulis! In 2024, when two volunteers moved into a house, they started taking care of the cats that appeared in the neighborhood. One of them was Pistoulis, who suddenly appeared in their garden one day. From a distance, there seemed to be nothing strange about his way of walking. When the volunteers came closer, they immediately understood why. He was completely blind. Without a doubt, the volunteers took him to a veterinarian who specializes in eyes to see if anything could be done. His treatment was very heavy. He had four different types of eye drops. These he received twice a day for a month. Pistoulis responded well to the treatment. He slowly regained his sight. When he was fully recovered, he was neutered and returned to the garden. This place he never really left. There he found safety, enough food and drink, and the company of other cats. So he also got his name, which means little faithful. Pistoulis is now looking for his golden bed. A home that will give him the permanent safety and love he really deserves, so he can leave the street life behind for good. Pistoulis has a very gentle and sensitive character. He has a calm and sweet appearance. He has a subtle but meaningful way of asking for attention. Pistoulis loves cuddling. He really enjoys being stroked. He likes to seek affection by gently rubbing his body against you. He then seeks the warmth of human contact. Pistoulis is social. He can live well with other cats and dogs, as long as he gets the necessary time to get used to it. With a good, gradual introduction and respectful treatment, he will find his way and his place in a new environment. He is friendly towards other cats and dogs. Pistoulis is neutered.

Dit is Pistoulis! In 2024 toen twee vrijwilligsters in een huis trokken, begonnen ze te zorgen voor de katten die in de buurt verschenen. Eén van hen was Pistoulis die op een dag plotseling in hun tuin opdook. Van een afstand leek er niets vreemds aan zijn manier van lopen. Toen de vrijwilligsters dichterbij kwamen, begrepen ze meteen waarom. Hij was volledig blind. Zonder twijfel namen de vrijwilligsters hem mee naar een dierenarts die gespecialiseerd is in ogen om te kijken of er iets aan gedaan kon worden. Zijn behandeling was erg zwaar. Hij had vier verschillende soorten oogdruppels. Deze kreeg hij twee keer per dag een maand lang. Pistoulis reageerde goed op de behandeling. Hij kreeg langzaam zijn zicht terug. Toen hij volledig hersteld was werd hij gecastreerd en teruggebracht naar de tuin. Deze plek verliet hij eigenlijk nooit meer. Daar vond hij veiligheid, voldoende eten en drinken en het gezelschap van andere katten. Zo kreeg hij ook zijn naam, die kleine trouw betekent. Pistoulis zoekt nu zijn gouden mandje. Een thuis die hem de permanente veiligheid en liefde zal geven die hij echt verdiend, zodat hij het straatleven voorgoed achter zich kan laten. Pistoulis heeft een erg zachtaardig en gevoelig karakter. Hij heeft een kalme en lieve uitstraling. Hij heeft een subtiele, maar betekenisvolle manier om om aandacht te vragen. Pistoulis houdt van knuffelen. Hij geniet er echt van om geaaid te worden. Hij zoekt graag genegenheid door zachtjes met zijn lijf tegen je aan te wrijven. Hij zoekt dan naar de warmte van menselijk contact. Pistoulis is sociaal. Hij kan goed samenleven met andere katten en honden, zolang hij maar den nodige tijd krijgt om te wennen.
