Pit—a special cat with a big heart. Pit is about 4 years old—and one of those cats you don’t just glance at; you instantly fall in love with him. With his loving, affectionate nature and gentle gaze, he manages to quietly enchant people. Pit has ataxia. That means his movements sometimes appear unsteady or uncoordinated. He walks a bit differently from other cats, occasionally stumbles, or seems a bit clumsy. But for Pit himself, this is completely normal—and the best part is: he handles it incredibly well. He plays, curiously explores his surroundings, and enjoys life in his very own way. Above all, there’s one thing Pit absolutely loves: his people. He’s deeply people-oriented, seeks closeness, and adores cuddling. At first, he can be a bit shy and easily startled. When something makes him feel insecure, he likes to hide under a blanket—a small, safe retreat of his own. But once he’s gained trust, he just wants to be right there, by your side. Pit also gets along great with other cats. He shows interest, friendliness, and openness toward fellow felines and would certainly have no problem enjoying their company. And despite everything, there’s still a playful side to him, too. We’re looking for a loving home for Pit—either in a purely indoor setting or with supervised outdoor access. What’s most important are people with big hearts who won’t focus solely on his special condition but will see the wonderful cat beneath it all. Because Pit doesn’t need pity—he just needs someone who loves him exactly as he is. 🐾 Pit – ein ganz besonderer Kater sucht sein ganz besonderes Zuhause ❤️ Pit ist etwa 4,5 Jahre alt und ein unglaublich liebevoller, anhänglicher und menschenbezogener Kater. Er liebt es zu kuscheln und möchte am liebsten immer in der Nähe seiner Menschen sein. Dabei ist Pit anfangs etwas schüchtern und generell schreckhaft. Wenn ihm die Welt einmal zu viel wird, verschwindet er gerne unter einer gemütlichen Decke. Hat er Vertrauen gefasst, zeigt er jedoch, was für ein wundervoller Schmusekater in ihm steckt. Pit hat Ataxie. Das bedeutet, dass seine Bewegungen durch eine Koordinationsstörung etwas unsicher und wackelig sein können. Für Pit ist das aber längst kein Grund, auf Lebensfreude zu verzichten: er kommt gut damit zurecht, bewegt sich selbstständig und ist verspielt. Sein neues Zuhause sollte lediglich auf seine besonderen Bedürfnisse Rücksicht nehmen und Gefahrenstellen entsprechend absichern. Auf seiner Pflegestelle hat Pit die kleine Dolly kennengelernt – und sein Herz sofort verschenkt. Dolly ist seine kleine Prinzessin und die Beiden sind ein Herz und eine Seele. Deshalb möchten sie ihr neues Leben unbedingt gemeinsam beginnen. Für Pit und Dolly suchen wir ein ruhiges, liebevolles Zuhause, in dem sie gemeinsam ankommen dürfen. Aufgrund seiner Ataxie kommt für Pit ausschließlich Wohnungshaltung oder gesicherter Freigang infrage.
