Adopt Pjevs

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 2 years

Name: Pjevs Location: 4690 Haslev Gender: Female Born: 01.05.2024 Other cats: No Dogs: Unknown Children: Older calm children 10+ Indoor/Outdoor: Both, preferably with a aviary or cat-safe terrace. From an incredibly shy, nervous and scared cat, to a little affectionate and curious being. Pjevs has realized that it is actually quite nice to be cuddled. Female has had a hard start in life, and has never experienced people being kind, therefore female has been shy and nervous. In the last month, female has blossomed so much, and follows me cautiously around the apartment and takes every opportunity to be cuddled. Pjevs has a gentle nature, is shy and uncertain, has never scratched, bitten or growled, which would otherwise be a natural reaction. Pjevs is not 100% comfortable with people yet, and therefore requires patience and above all time. Time to sit and talk with her, slowly gain her trust, make her feel safe and show her that you will not harm her. Pjevs has received the nine-life package and is therefore both microchipped, eartagged and spayed as well as checked by a veterinarian. The price is 1655,00 kr. The cats are neutered, microchipped, eartagged, basic vaccinated (1st vaccine) as well as thoroughly health checked by a vet. 145.00kr Cat Registration 300.00kr 2. Vaccination Total amount 2100,00 kr.

About Pjevs

What life with Pjevs looks like

Pjevs is a small young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Forening Ni-Liv in Sjælland.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇰Adopting from Denmark

Danish shelters follow EU pet passport rules and require an adoption contract. Animals are chipped, vaccinated, and sterilized before placement.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pjevs, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pjevs?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Forening Ni-Liv handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pjevs on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pjevs if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Forening Ni-Liv will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pjevs already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pjevs isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Forening Ni-Liv early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pjevs and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DA). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
