He has been tested for common Mediterranean diseases: babesiosis, ehrlichiosis, leishmaniasis, rickettsia, filaria, hepatozoonosis, and anaplasmosis. The dog is only available for adoption after a positive preliminary inspection (home visit) for a fee and with a contract.
