Polo American staff · Male Male Male American StaffBorn on 27.09.2016Arrived on 12.07.2017Provenance: AbandonedWeight: 32.25 kgMode of life: House with enclosed gardenChildren agreement: NoDog agreement: NoDog agreement: NoBehavioral evaluation: 2/4 Polo, a magnificent staff of almost 8 years, has a past that deserves to be filled with a new story filled with love and benevolence. Abandoned after living in an apartment too small where he could not spend his overflowing energy, Polo was seized by the police in 2017. Since then, he patiently waits in our refuge, hoping to find the family who will see beyond his faults and discover his immense potential for tenderness. Polo is a dog that needs time to trust. He distrusts strangers and may have unpredictable reactions, a painful memory of his tumultuous past. However, once he opens his heart, he is a real teddy bear. Polo prefers by far hug sessions and moments of tenderness to long walks. His greatest pleasure is to huddle against you, offering all the affection he can. It is important to note that Polo is still struggling to channel his energy. In the game, he can sometimes catch your clothes or your arms without wanting it, simply because he doesn't yet know how to express his excitement appropriately. He needs a patient family, ready to offer him the necessary education and encouragement to help him become the best dog he can be. Polo has already bitten by resource protection, a behavior that requires special attention. The ideal family for him would be people experienced with dogs, able to understand his specific needs and work with him to correct his behaviors. With love, patience and a good dose of understanding, Polo can become a loyal and loving companion. No

No
