adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Pong has found a home! His story: "Of course, you can live without a dog – but it's not worth it." Stray children come into the world and are not wanted from the start. But the 4 Bear brothers, with about 3.5 months old, like the siblings Pong and Ping, Tatze, and Shadow, do not let that dampen their love for life. The sweet black fluff balls now enjoy the safety in the foster home with our animal rescuer Tina in Romania and can rest there. We assume that the pretty siblings will be about medium-sized when they grow up. Not for long, and Pong and Ping, Shadow and Tatze can travel, and you can lay a loving and caring world at their paws. The little Pong is a magical black fluff boy with a playful and loving personality. Frivolously and curiously, Pong plays through the day with his brothers. They get along just as well with the other dogs in the foster home as with the cats that live there. The 4 Bear brothers especially enjoy the cuddles from two-leggeds. At the beginning, it's important to have empathy and be calm. Rules are necessary, but learning becomes much easier when trust is the foundation. When Pong realizes that you mean well with him, it also becomes easier for him to accept your family rules. House training, walking on a leash, sleeping through the night, recall, car rides, and many more tasks that a puppy can quickly become overwhelmed with are waiting. And puberty is still on the horizon. This time can turn sweet puppies into little rebels. With calmness and loving guidance, you can build a trust foundation that will bond you with a dog for a lifetime. A puppy is a special family member – one that sneaks into your hearts, and the other that leaps with joy and vitality into your midst. Are you ready for Pong? Then contact us via the website and get in touch. Pong is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas. He was named by many thanks to Andrea G. Stand: 21.11.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! About Pong

What life with Pong looks like

Pong is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pong, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pong?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pong on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pong if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pong already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pong isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pong and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
