When you take him for a walk, you can feel his strength—his steady, confident stride—and his keen awareness of his surroundings, just as befits a true Podenco. Whenever you speak to him, he tilts his little head in a tender way, as if he’s eager to understand every single word you say. He thoroughly enjoys attention, quiet moments, and having a safe place where he can simply be himself. Hij werd gevonden met een huidaandoening en een lichte vorm van leischmania, maar dankzij goede zorg is hij daar prachtig van opgeknapt en voor de leish wordt hij nog behandelt. Zijn vacht straalt weer en zijn ogen vertellen een verhaal van veerkracht en vertrouwen.Popcorn is heel lief en zoekt graag de nabijheid van mensen.Tijdens het wandelen merk je zijn kracht, hij stapt stevig door, en hij is alert op zijn omgeving zoals een echte Podenco betaamt.Wanneer je hem aanspreekt, kantelt hij zijn hoofdje op een vertederende manier, alsof hij elk woord wilt begrijpen.Hij geniet van aandacht, rustige momenten en een veilige plek waar hij helemaal zichzelf mag zijn.
