Poppy is a social and playful cat. She is looking for a safe and comfortable home to grow old in, where she can be outside in a safe environment. I am a social lady who likes to be close to people. I like to greet and cuddle before finding a place to observe nearby, often in a high place. I like cuddling, but if it gets too much, I politely say so. I can bite or scratch if you try to cuddle me on my belly, as I want that all to myself. I can be lifted. At night, I like to sleep in bed with you if you let me, and then I either lie next to you or on top of you. But I need to feel safe first before that happens - I don't share a bed with just anyone, you understand! I have calcification in my back, which is kept under control with monthly medication from the veterinarian. Since I started the medication, I have become more affectionate and playful, so it's clear that it helps. My favorite toys are feathers and things that move. I also like threads, and I can often mistake them for charging cables. I can also be tempted by threads in your laundry, so please keep me away from cords and clothes you are afraid of. I am a good fit for homes without children or with older children who respect my boundaries. I want to be the only cat in the home. Poppy is spayed, chipped, and vaccinated. Poppy er en sosial og leken katt. Hun ønsker seg et trygt og godt hjem å bli gammel i, hvor hun kan være ute i trygge omgivelser. Kjønn Jeg er en sosial frøken som liker å være i nærheten av mennesker. Jeg hilser gjerne på og får litt kos før jeg finner meg en plass å observere i nærheten, gjerne i høyden. Jeg liker kos, men blir det for mye, sier jeg høflig fra. Jeg kan bite eller klore hvis du prøver å kose meg på magen, den vil jeg nemlig ha helt for meg selv. Jeg kan fint løftes. Om natten sover jeg gjerne i sengen med deg om jeg får lov, og da ligger jeg enten ved siden av deg eller oppå deg. Men jeg må bli trygg på deg først før det blir aktuelt - jeg deler ikke seng med hvem som helst må du skjønne! Jeg har forkalkning i ryggen, noe som holdes i sjakk med månedlige medisiner fra veterinæren. Etter jeg begynte på medisinene har jeg blitt mer kosete og leken, så det er tydelig at de hjelper. Mine favorittleker er fjær og ting som beveger seg. Jeg er også glad i tråder, og jeg kan ofte ta feil av det og ladekabler. Jeg kan også bli fristet av tråder i klesvasken din, så hold meg gjerne unna ledninger og klær du er redd for. Jeg passer godt i hjem uten barn eller med eldre barn som respekterer grensene mine.
