I am Priest! I was found severely injured in front of a church and brought to the animal shelter. When I arrived here, my condition was very poor and I was close to death. Over the last few weeks, my caregivers and veterinarians have done everything to bring me back to health. I am now much better and I am looking for a quiet, loving home. I am a rather shy and laid-back cat who likes to take things easy. I am initially very uncertain with strangers. But with familiar people, I now enjoy the first cautious pets. And whoever wants to win my heart has a particularly good trump card with tasty snacks. Love definitely goes through my stomach! It has not yet been possible to test whether I am compatible with other cats. Health-wise, I had a tough start: I came to the shelter with an old jaw fracture and could hardly eat at first. In the meantime, I can eat well on my own and have recovered nicely. However, I am FIV-positive. For my new home, I therefore wish for a quiet single place or a home with an older, also FIV-positive cat. What is important to me are loving people who understand my history and give me the time I need to gain trust and really settle in. I don't want any hustle and bustle, but a cozy place where I can enjoy my retirement in peace. Hallo, ich bin Priester!Ich wurde schwer verletzt vor einer Kirche gefunden und ins Tierheim gebracht. Als ich hier ankam, stand es sehr schlecht um mich und ich war dem Tode nahe. Die letzten Wochen haben meine Tierpflegerinnen und Tierärzt:innen alles darangesetzt, mich wieder zu Kräften zu bringen. Mittlerweile geht es mir deutlich besser und ich bin nun auf der Suche nach einem ruhigen, liebevollen Zuhause.Ich bin ein eher schüchterner und gemütlicher Kater, der es gerne ruhig angehen lässt. Bei fremden Menschen bin ich zunächst sehr unsicher. Bei vertrauten Personen freue ich mich aber mittlerweile über erste vorsichtige Streicheleinheiten. Und wer mein Herz erobern möchte, hat mit leckeren Snacks einen besonders guten Trumpf in der Hand. Liebe geht bei mir definitiv durch den Magen! Ob ich mit anderen Katzen verträglich bin konnte bisher noch nicht getestet werden. Gesundheitlich hatte ich einen schweren Start: Ich kam mit einem alten Kieferbruch ins Tierheim und konnte zunächst kaum fressen. Inzwischen kann ich wieder gut selbstständig fressen und habe mich schön erholt. Allerdings bin ich FIV-positiv.Für mein neues Zuhause wünsche ich mir daher einen ruhigen Einzelplatz oder ein Zuhause bei einer älteren, ebenfalls FIV-positiven Katze. Wichtig sind mir liebe Menschen, die Verständnis für meine Vorgeschichte haben und mir die Zeit geben, die ich brauche, um Vertrauen zu fassen und richtig anzukommen.
