Becky, a Pudelpointer female, born in February 2022, is looking for a new home. She has passed her working test in Lower Saxony. She lives on a large, unfenced property near a forest. She can easily stay alone for several hours without wandering off. She has no problems with cattle, horses, or cats and has been very affectionate and considerate towards babies and toddlers. She is very attached and affectionate and is happy to be around people. Becky is very intelligent and a real powerhouse. She has received excellent training from an experienced dog trainer and has successfully completed a few tracking exercises and raccoon hunts with us. Nevertheless, she knows exactly who she can be with and who she cannot. As she is more of the fluffy variety, she goes to the dog groomer once or twice a year and this works very well. She drives daily to our farm, moves freely there, stays alone on the property during the day, knows no kennel life, and has even run on a bike, but training is necessary. She has no allergies or other health problems. Unfortunately, Becky has a problem with other dogs, especially females. However, with males, you never know if it will always be the case. If she doesn't like a person, she communicates this very clearly. However, there is no warning from her with dogs. She has unfortunately had an older female living in the house since puppyhood, who she has injured twice, once seriously. This is a big issue for jealousy and control from Becky's side. The two females live in separate apartments, but we can no longer leave them together without constant observation and immediate intervention. The situation is extremely stressful for all parties involved, and there is also the fear that the jealousy could also be directed against our toddlers or visitors. Even though she has been super great with the children so far. We have therefore decided that Becky could be happier in a home as a single dog. She currently has far too little exercise and also doesn't have enough hunting to do. We are looking for a new home for her without other dogs, with a lot of family involvement, a clear and assertive leader, and a lot of work or activity. Die Pudelpointer Hündin Becky vom Westerloher Land sucht ein neues zu Hause. Sie ist im Februar 2022 geboren und hat in Niedersachsen ihre Brauchbarkeitsprüfung abgelegt. Bei uns wohnt sie auf einem großen, nicht eingezäunten Grundstück am Wald. Hier bleibt sie auch problemlos mehrere Stunden alleine, ohne auf Wanderschaft zu gehen. Sie hat mit Rindern, Pferden und Katzen absolut keine Probleme und ist auch zu Babys und Kleinkindern bisher immer sehr lieb und rücksichtsvoll gewesen. Sie ist sehr anhänglich und verschmust und einfach glücklich wenn sie dabei sein kann. Becky ist sehr intelligent und ein absolutes Kraftpaket. Sie hat eine sehr gute Ausbildung bei einem erfahrenen Hundeausbilder genossen und bei uns bisher ein paar Nachsuchen erfolgreich absolviert sowie Waschbären gejagt. Nichts destotrotz weiß sie sehr genau, bei wem sie sich etwas erlauben kann und bei wem nicht. Da sie eher von der wuscheligen Sorte ist, geht sie ein bis zweimal im Jahr zum Hundefriseur und das funktioniert sehr gut. Sie fährt täglich Auto zu unserem Betrieb, bewegt sich auch dort frei, bleibt tagsüber alleine auf dem Grundstück, kennt keine Zwingerhaltung, ist auch schon am Fahrrad gelaufen, hier ist aber Training notwendig. Sie hat keine Allergien oder sonstige gesundheitliche Probleme. Leider hat Becky ein Problem mit anderen Hunden, vor allem Hündinnen. Aber auch bei Rüden weiß man nie, wenn es vorher geklappt hat, ob das auch immer so ist. Wenn sie einen Menschen nicht leiden kann, kommuniziert sie das sehr klar. Bei Hunden gibt es allerdings von ihr keine Vorwarnung. Sie hat leider eine ältere im Haus lebende Hündin, die sie von Welpe an kennt, bereits zweimal verletzt. Davon einmal wirklich schwer. Hier ist Eifersucht und Kontrollzwang von Beckys Seite in großes Thema. Die beiden Hündinnen leben in getrennten Wohnungen aber auch draußen können wir sie nicht mehr ohne permanente Beobachtung und sofortiges Einwirken zusammen lassen. Die Situation ist für alle Beteiligten extrem belastend und dazu kommt die Angst, dass sich die Eifersucht vielleicht auch mal gegen unsere Kleinkinder oder Besuch richten könnte. Auch wenn sie bisher super klasse im Umgang mit den Kindern war. Wir haben uns deshalb entschieden, dass Becky in einem zu Hause als Einzelhund glücklicher sein könnte. Sie hat aktuell leider viel zu wenig Auslastung und auch jagdlich hat sie nicht genug zu tun. Wir wünschen uns für sie ein neues Heim ohne andere Hunde, mit ganz viel Familienanschluss, eine klare und durchsetzungsfähige Führungsperson und viel Arbeit bzw. Aktivität.
