We’re Pumba and Hrum, and together we’re looking for a loving home. Here’s what we’re like: Both of us are very friendly and enjoy being close to our people. That’s why we’d love a home where plenty of time is reserved just for us. Ideally, there would be at least two people in the household so we don’t often have to be alone. We’re more on the cozy side and don’t need much excitement. Unfortunately, we’re what are known as “breed-specific breeds,” and potential adopters should thoroughly educate themselves about this before adopting us—but of course, our caregivers are happy to provide detailed advice on the subject as well. I, Pumba, am already receiving pain medication because of my condition. I’m a young tomcat, and despite my illness, I remain friendly and affectionate. My buddy Hrum already has mild ankle osteoarthritis. He, too, loves cuddling and is very people-oriented. We’d love a home with people who can spend lots of quality time with us. A calm household without small children would be perfect for us. It’s also fine if there’s already a suitable feline companion waiting for us. Wir sind Pumba und Hrum und suchen gemeinsam ein liebevolles Zuhause. Das sind wir: Wir sind beide zutraulich und genießen die Nähe unserer Menschen. Deshalb wünschen wir uns ein Zuhause, in dem viel Zeit für uns da ist. Ideal wären mindestens zwei Personen, so dass wir nicht oft allein sind. Wir sind eher von der gemütlichen Sorte und brauchen nicht viel Action. Leider sind wir sogenannte Qualzuchten und unsere Menschen sollten sich vor einer Adoption intensiv darüber informieren – unsere Tierpfleger:innen beraten dazu aber natürlich auch gern ausführlich. Ich, Pumba, bekomme deshalb bereits Schmerzmittel. Ich bin ein junger Kater und trotz meiner Erkrankung freundlich und anhänglich. Mein Kumpel Hrum hat schon leichte Sprunggelenksarthrosen. Auch er ist verschmust und menschenbezogen. Wir wünschen uns ein Zuhause mit Menschen, die viel Zeit für uns haben. Ein ruhiger Haushalt ohne kleine Kinder wäre für uns ideal. Es dürfen auch gern schon vorhandene passende Samtpfote(n) auf uns warten.
