06-08-26 Queenie is a scared little lady who has come into our care from a breeder. She is very nervous right now and will growl if we approach her. It is clear that Queenie needs time to settle into her new environment, and we will be taking things slowly with her so that we don't overwhelm her. At the moment, she doesn't yet understand that we are here to help her, and her new family will need to earn her trust with patience and kindness. We believe that Queenie will need another kind and confident dog in the home, and this dog will be a much-needed support system to help guide her and give her reassurance as she adjusts to home life. As Queenie has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training, lead training, and the other basics of home life. Queenie will need an adult-only home so that she can relax and settle into her new surroundings without too much hustle and bustle. She will need calm, patient adopters who are happy to let her progress at her own pace and never rush her. She will need adopters who have experience with ex-breeders and can understand her needs. Queenie is a gentle girl who has had a difficult start in life. With a quiet home, a confident canine companion, and lots of understanding, we hope she will slowly begin to feel safe enough to let her true personality shine through. Queenie has had 10 teeth removed at the time of her spay. She has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
