Radiostacja

Mixed Breed · Female

Radiostacja arrived at the foundation from a street in Krakow, where - as you guessed correctly - one of the Krakow radio stations is located. In the temporary home, she is less officially called Misia. The kitten in the temporary home is waiting for adoption. Misia is a calm, adult cat. At first, when she arrived at the foundation, she was very skeptical towards people, but then it turned out that being petted is quite good. In the temporary home, she first lived under the bed, and after two weeks, she allowed us to get closer. Since then, she has been the biggest cuddler in the world. She loves to lie on people and be petted, and then she starts to loudly purr and gives kisses. She is curious about other cats, can share knees and the human's bed with another furball. She does not refuse food, and nicely uses the litter box. Recently visited the dentist. We are looking for a non-exiting, loving, safe home for Radiostacji - Misia, with a secured balcony (if there is one) and/or windows, which will surround her with the best care. WARNING!

Misia to stateczna, dorosła kotka. UWAGA! About Radiostacja

What life with Radiostacja looks like

Radiostacja is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at Fundacja Stawiamy na Łapy in Poland.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Radiostacja, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Radiostacja?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Stawiamy na Łapy handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Radiostacja on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Radiostacja if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Stawiamy na Łapy will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Radiostacja already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Radiostacja isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Stawiamy na Łapy early rather than rehoming privately; they know Radiostacja and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
