Radler

Mixed Breed · Female · 4 years

Radler is a beautiful 4-year-old poodle who is looking for a home where she can be spoiled until the end of time and beyond (and maybe just a little bit more). She usually waits in her kennel enclosure with the hope that we'll approach her to give her some cuddles. She lifts her ears and opens her mouth every time she hears a noise, turning her head to try to figure out if we're coming her way. When she realizes we are, she becomes super happy and runs over to get some cuddles. Sometimes, she gives a little nibble that just makes you laugh, because she only wants cuddles, cuddles, and more cuddles. She's quite a social pup, doesn't usually have bad attitudes towards other animals, and she walks beautifully too. It's a privilege to spend time with her. One of her tricks to win our hearts is, when we least expect it, finding her on her back asking for her belly to be scratched. It seems, despite her whole story, all she asks for is a family that loves her, takes care of her, and gives her all their hearts. She adores playing fetch, but in the most adorable way. She picks up her toys and goes to a corner to spend some time with them. Even so, she never loses hope that you'll come over to play with her for a bit.

ES·Show original

About Radler

What life with Radler looks like

Radler is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Protectora Malaga in Málaga.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Radler, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Radler?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Protectora Malaga handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Radler on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Radler if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Protectora Malaga will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Radler already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Radler isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Protectora Malaga early rather than rehoming privately; they know Radler and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
