Rania

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy

Rania – young mixed-breed female dog wants to finally arrive Rania currently lives together with her brother Boabdil and her sister Nazari at a foster home in Spain. Her sisters Farah and Aicha have already made the leap into family life – now Rania hopes to find her people soon too. At the foster home she can be just like any other puppy: play, discover, romp around with her siblings and learn about the world step by step. Right now this sweet girl is spared from the animal shelter, but it would still be the greatest thing for her to move into a permanent family. Rania will probably grow up to be medium-sized and weigh about 20 kilograms when fully grown. Of course she doesn't know what life in her own home is like yet. Everything that we take for granted, she has to learn first: becoming house trained, walking on a leash, calming down, staying alone and orienting herself in everyday life. That takes time, patience and people who lovingly guide her through this exciting time. The decision to get a puppy should therefore always be well thought out. From the little dog will soon become an adult companion who will be part of the family for many years. Whoever gives Rania this chance wins a young female dog that has her whole life ahead of her and is waiting to start a new adventure with her humans. If you are aware of what comes with adopting a shelter dog and have fallen in love with the rescue nose, please contact the responsible SALVA Hundehilfe foster carer. We would also be very grateful for any offers to provide a foster home! Here's Rania's video

About Rania

What life with Rania looks like

Rania is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Rania, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Rania?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Rania on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Rania if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Rania already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Rania isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Rania and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
