Support and Health Do I have any medical conditions? None Papaya and Raspberry have a clean bill of health. Who I can live with Can I live with dogs? Yes Can I live with cats? Yes Can I live with small pets? Yes Additional information Like other small pets, they should be kept safely away from other animals in the home. As prey animals, they may feel threatened by the presence of other species such as cats and dogs. Family and environment What kind of family am I looking for? Mice can make lovely first-time pets for children who are calm, patient and confident. They often enjoy coming out to be handled and will happily take treats from your hands. A family who finds joy in watching their pets have fun climbing and exploring their set ups would be perfect for mice. They will need gentle handling and a quiet approach, as they can sometimes be startled and can be quick when they run! What type of environment would suit me? Mice are active and curious animals that love to climb, dig and explore. A suitable enclosure for a group of 3-4 mice should measure at least 80cm wide, 50cm deep and 35 cm high, with bar spacing no greater than 7mm. Being such active animals, providing them with lots of different types of enrichment will ensure they stay happy. Discover the perfect care tips for mice in our care guide: About Raspberry and Papaya Meet these two beautiful little girls, they are looking for a home where they can be introduced to some more mice friends to play with. Papaya is the more confident of the two girls, she will always be the first to come and say hello. She has been gaining more and more confidence each day, almost brave enough to take her favourite treat from your fingers. Raspberry is more reserved, and will often be hidden away for the first few minutes, but you will soon see her nose poke out of her hiding spot and carefully watch. With some more time to settle and with some soft voices and soft handling, we are certain it wont be long before Raspberry is exploring happily around with Papaya. One thing these girls love to do, is DIG! They absolutely love it, creating lots of little mounds all over their cage. Whether they’re digging in their soil tray, in their normal substrate or their soft bedding, they are having so much fun. If you have a lonely mouse who is in need of some very sweet girls to cuddle with, or you have a group who enjoy the bigger social life. Please get in contact via the website to enquire about Raspberry and Papaya. Things to note Do you have a single mouse looking for a companion? Or a small group who are looking to have more friends? As well as rehoming bonded groups, we can help to find companions for single mice too. About Raspberry and Papaya

What life with Raspberry and Papaya looks like

Raspberry and Papaya is a small puppy/kitten animal waiting at Woodgreen Pets Charity in United Kingdom.

Every animal has their own temperament and history. The shelter knows Raspberry and Papaya far better than any listing can convey — ask about daily routine, ideal household, and what kind of adopter they're hoping for.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Raspberry and Papaya, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Raspberry and Papaya?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Woodgreen Pets Charity handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Raspberry and Papaya on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Raspberry and Papaya if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Woodgreen Pets Charity will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Raspberry and Papaya already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most animals on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Raspberry and Papaya isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Woodgreen Pets Charity early rather than rehoming privately; they know Raspberry and Papaya and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
