Reggie Betsy – In foster – Midlands

English Bulldog · Female

Please join us in welcoming Reggie and Betsy into the Geordie Bullies Family! Reggie and Betsy sadly found themselves wandering the streets alone in the cold autumn weather. If there is a silver lining during this heartbreaking time for them, it’s that Reggie and Betsy had each other. It just goes to show how deeply bonded they are. Even when they were scared, facing the unknown and having to fend for themselves, they stayed together. Thankfully, Reggie and Betsy were found by a local kennels, but neither of them had a registered microchip to help trace their owner, and nobody came forward to claim them. We were contacted by the kennels to ask if we could help, and we simply couldn’t say no! This is exactly what we’re here for: to help our beloved breed when they need us most. Yesterday, Reggie and Betsy’s fabulous foster mum made a six-hour round trip to collect them and bring them to safety. For the first time in a while, our gorgeous pair got to experience the warmth of a home, along with love, comfort and security. Reggie and Betsy are now in foster care with Teresa, her family and their three dogs! Our gorgeous pair are settling in beautifully and have already made themselves right at home. Although we have no immediate concerns about Reggie, he is underweight, so we’ll be working on helping him gain some much-needed weight. Betsy has a very tight tail, which we believe may be causing her discomfort. We’ll be asking the vets to take a good look at this when they both go in for their full health checks. A little note about adoption: Reggie and Betsy have only just arrived in foster care and are not yet available for adoption. Applications are not open at this time, so please don’t try to apply for them just yet. We’ll share their adoption poster once they have completed their assessment period. Thank you for your patience and understanding! Please join us in giving Reggie and Betsy the warmest welcome into the family! From now on, you will know nothing but love, kindness and happiness. We promise that you will never have to face life on the streets again. You’re safe now, beautiful pair, and your next chapter is just beginning. Frequently asked

Adopting Reggie Betsy – In foster – Midlands, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Reggie Betsy – In foster – Midlands?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Geordie Bullies Springboard Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Reggie Betsy – In foster – Midlands on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Reggie Betsy – In foster – Midlands if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Geordie Bullies Springboard Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Reggie Betsy – In foster – Midlands already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Reggie Betsy – In foster – Midlands isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Geordie Bullies Springboard Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Reggie Betsy – In foster – Midlands and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
