Personality: Réglisse is a discreet cat, very close to her human: she will love to spend entire days on your lap! With her round head, she will make you melt… Very social, she will beg for petting from anyone who passes through your door. When the food isn't served fast enough to her liking, Madame becomes a bit vocal, allowing you to admire her authoritative cat-mother miaow. Réglisse needs presence and attention. Although in very good health for her age, she may occasionally urinate outside the litter box; this happens in three well-defined cases: at night if the litter box is in a room where her human is not, so the litter box must be placed in the room where you sleep; if the litter box is not clean enough, the soiled litter must be removed in the morning and evening; and if carpets are available! Hide your bathroom rugs, Madame Réglisse adores them and shows her affection by urinating on them. You will have understood, it is not a settled messiness, but totally linked to the preferences/exigencies of her highness, so respect them and everything will be exemplary in cleanliness! She loves to take naps (especially on your lap), her food, cat treats with cheese, playing with a string or a grass-filled toy, being brushed for hours, and regularly examining the entrance door of her domain. Caractère : Réglisse est une chatte discrète, très proche de son humain: elle aimera passer des journées entières sur vos genoux! Avec sa tête toute ronde, elle vous fera craquer… Très sociable, elle ira quémander des caresses à toutes les personnes qui passeront le seuil de votre porte. Madame devient un peu vocale lorsque la pâtée n’est pas servie assez vite à son goût, ce qui vous permettra d’admirer son miaulement autoritaire de mamie chat. Réglisse a besoin de présence et d’attention. Bien qu’en très bonne santé pour son âge, il peut lui arriver de faire pipi en dehors de la litière; cela n’arrive que dans trois cas bien définis : la nuit si la litière est dans une pièce où son humain n’est pas, il faudra donc impérativement placer la litière dans la pièce où vous dormez ; si la litière n’est pas assez propre, il faudra donc bien retirer la litière souillée matin et soir ; et si des tapis sont disponibles ! Cachez vos tapis de bain, Madame Réglisse les adore et leur témoigne son affection en urinant dessus. Vous l’aurez compris, ce n’est pas une malpropreté installée, mais totalement liée aux préférences/exigences de sa seigneurie, donc respectez-les et tout sera d’une propreté exemplaire ! Elle aime beaucoup faire la sieste (surtout sur vos genoux), la pâtée, les friandises pour chat au fromage, jouer avec une ficelle ou un jouet rempli d’herbe à chat, être brossée pendant des heures, et examiner régulièrement la porte d’entrée de son domaine. Histoire : Réglisse a été confiée à l’association suite au déménagement de son propriétaire dans un logement qui n’accepte pas les animaux.
