Renoma

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 6 months

Though I'm only about 6 months old, I've already learned that life can be unpredictable. Just a short while ago, I was at an animal shelter where many dogs never find their way home. Thankfully, I met people who gave me a chance at a better future. Today, I'm already safe and looking for my own family. I'm still a bit unsure and withdrawn. I'm not one of those dogs that jumps right into anyone's lap the moment they meet. I need a moment to feel more secure. But I have something very important inside me - puppy curiosity. I want to explore the world, observe it, learn new things, and discover that a person can be someone worth trusting. Currently, I weigh just under 8 kg, and when I grow up, I'll likely be of medium size. I'm looking for a calm home that will give me time to open up at my own pace and show me that the most beautiful things in life don't always come right away. I'll probably do best without little children around, but I'd happily live with another dog who will help me better understand the world and show me that there's nothing to be afraid of. Maybe you can help me write a happy ending to this story?

PL·Show original

Jestem jeszcze trochę nieufna i wycofana.

About Renoma

What life with Renoma looks like

Renoma is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at GRUPA RATUJ Wrocław in Poland.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Renoma, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Renoma?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. GRUPA RATUJ Wrocław handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Renoma on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Renoma if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — GRUPA RATUJ Wrocław will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Renoma already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Renoma isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with GRUPA RATUJ Wrocław early rather than rehoming privately; they know Renoma and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
