Ricky turned up at a feeding station in Rinkeby last autumn, when some dedicated volunteers were searching for a cat that had gone missing. Since he had been there eating every night, he was presumed to be homeless and was placed on the waiting list with us. Another cat, Robin, was caught first, and then it was discovered that a similar cat was still out there, and that was Ricky. Now both are inside. We don't know whether they are related or just friends. Ricky was unneutered, unmarked, and very dirty. He needed to get used to being indoors and to learn that we only wish him well. ❤️ Ricky has now seen our veterinarian, been neutered, and visited the dentist, where a few tooth roots were removed from two broken teeth. He has rested up and received his second vaccine. Ricky & Robin have now moved out to the cat home. They stick together through thick and thin and are developing more every day. Both now allow themselves to be petted and brushed and move relaxedly around the cat home. They find it feels safe and cozy to go out into the outdoor run, and they do so for a while every day – together, of course! ❤️

Rickys dök upp vid en matstation i Rinkeby i höstas när några eldsjälar var på jakt efter en katt på rymmen. Då han hade varit där och ätit varje natt så förmodades han vara hemlös och ställdes på kö hos oss. En annan katt – Robin fångades in först och sedan upptäcktes det att det fanns en liknande katt kvar och det var Ricky, nu är båda inne. Vi vet ej om de är släkt eller bara kompisar. Ricky var okastrerad, omärkt och väldigt smutsig, han behövde vänja sig vid att vara inne och att vi bara vill honom väl. ❤️ Ricky har nu hunnit träffat vår veterinär, blivit kastrerad och varit hos tandläkaren och dragit ut några tandrötter på två avslagna tänder, vilat upp sig och fått sitt andra vaccin. Ricky & Robin har nu flytta ut på katthemmet. De hänger ihop i vått och torrt och utvecklas för varje dag. Båda låter sig nu klappas och borstas och rör sig avslappnat på katthemmet. De tycker det känns tryggt och mysigt att gå ut i rastgården och gör det en stund varje dag – tillsammans så klart! ❤️
