Ricky

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 1 year

Ricky is a beautiful tabby cat, very handsome and with a sweet, friendly nature towards people. He is an affectionate cat who enjoys human company. He likes you to spend time with him, speak to him calmly and stroke him, as you can see in the video. He is a calm cat who exudes a sense of serenity in his daily life. Ricky has recently been moved to a room with other cats, so he is still in the process of settling in. At the moment, he is not causing any trouble or getting into fights, although he hasn’t yet started to interact actively with his feline companions. It is too early to assess his level of sociability with other cats, as he needs more time to feel completely at ease in his new surroundings. We will keep you updated on his progress as he gains confidence and adapts to living with others. 💛 Ricky is a gentle, calm cat who is very friendly with people. ✨ Adopt Ricky and help him continue on his journey towards a stable and happy life. 📩 Adoption enquiries: 📸 Follow us on Instagram:

About Ricky

What life with Ricky looks like

Ricky is a small young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Triple A Marbella in Marbella.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee. Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Ricky, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ricky?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Triple A Marbella handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ricky on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ricky if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Triple A Marbella will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Ricky already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Ricky isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Triple A Marbella early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ricky and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
