Rihanna is a lively, intelligent Podenco with a real zest for life. She is a confident and sociable dog who enjoys the company of both people and other dogs. She forms affectionate bonds while also being comfortable spending time on her own. Rihanna is currently in the care of one of our partner shelters. Whilst spending time in a foster home, Rihanna was calm, respectful and well‑behaved. She didn’t bark unnecessarily and was content to relax indoors. However, she truly comes into her own outdoors—she loves long, active walks, exploring her surroundings, and engaging her sharp mind. Rihanna has a strong prey drive and therefore cannot live with cats. She is physically agile and has previously managed to jump high fencing, so she will need a secure garden with appropriate boundaries. An active home would suit Rihanna best—ideally with owners who enjoy regular exercise such as long walks, hikes, or runs. With the right balance of activity, stimulation, and companionship, she will make a loyal and engaging companion. Rihanna is neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases excluding Leish - as already stated she has previously tested positive but with treatment is now presenting as negative.
