Rita was found on August 23 in l'Alcora, in front of Arciblansa. She was alone, without a chip and in a rather thin condition. We do not know what she has lived before arriving to us or how long she had been on the street, but now, finally, she is safe and we can start giving her the attention she needs. Rita is a medium-sized podenca, weighing about 12 kg, with a beautiful short coat of cinnamon and white. But if there is something that stands out about her, it is her character: she is a very affectionate, docile and calm little dog, who shows herself close to people and enjoys receiving attention and affection. Despite arriving thin and in circumstances that we do not know, Rita has not lost her sweetness. She seems like one of those little dogs that only need to feel safe to get all the love they carry inside. Her story also reminds us of the importance of identifying our animals. When a dog gets lost without a chip or any identifying element, it is much more difficult to find its family and know what has happened to it. And, in the meantime, the animal is exposed to many dangers on the street. Now Rita needs to look forward. We do not know how her life was before arriving at the shelter, but we can decide how it will be from now on: with care, tranquility and a family that loves her and considers her part of it. Pero si hay algo que destaca en ella es su carácter: es una perrita muy cariñosa, dócil y tranquila, que se muestra cercana con las personas y disfruta de recibir atención y cariño.A pesar de haber llegado delgada y en unas circunstancias que desconocemos, Rita no ha perdido su dulzura. Parece una de esas perritas que solo necesitan sentirse seguras para sacar todo el cariño que llevan dentro.Su historia también nos recuerda la importancia de la identificación de nuestros animales.
