Adopt Robin

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 5 months

Robin is a male dog, about 5 months old, who is ready to travel to his own home in July and start a new chapter of his life. Like his brother Silas, Robin is just at the beginning and must learn the world step by step. Many situations are still new and sometimes unfamiliar to him, which is why he may react uncertainly at first. With patience, loving companionship, and some time, he will quickly gain security and develop well. Robin brings many wonderful qualities that make him a great companion. He is curious, attentive, and often likes to be involved, although he differs slightly from Silas in his orientation. He is not as bold, but often more thoughtful, observing before diving into new adventures. He is also clever and eager to learn, and with the right support, he will quickly understand what is expected of him. Especially beautiful is Robin's closeness to humans. He is very people-oriented, enjoys affection, and seeks contact with his trusted people. In him lies a gentle but still self-assured character that can grow with the right guidance. Like every young puppy, Robin still needs time, patience, and a loving, consistent upbringing. Whoever gives him this chance will have a loyal and sensitive companion by their side who will bring them much joy. If you want to know more about our lovely Robin, feel free to contact us and tell us a little about your living situation and how Robin would live with you. Robin can hardly wait to finally become a part of a loving family. Robin is microchipped, regularly dewormed, and fully vaccinated. He will be ready to travel in July 2026. Contact:

Kontakt:

About Robin

What life with Robin looks like

Robin is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Pfotenhilfe Antalya in Ansbach.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Robin, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Robin?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Pfotenhilfe Antalya handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Robin on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Robin if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Pfotenhilfe Antalya will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Robin already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Robin isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Pfotenhilfe Antalya early rather than rehoming privately; they know Robin and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
