Robin Fimaz

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 5 years

Robin showed up at a feeding station in Rinkeby last autumn, when some dedicated volunteers were searching for a cat that had gotten out. Since he had been coming to eat every night, they started to suspect he was homeless, and he was put on the waiting list with us. Robin was caught, but then it turned out there was another similar cat there as well. That was Ricky, and now both of them are inside. (We don't know whether they are related or just friends.) Robin was unneutered and unmarked. He was wary but still fairly calm. At neutering, it was discovered that he had a serious injury to his jaw, either a root-tip abscess or a bite wound; it could not be determined which. Pus was pressed out of the area, and he was given antibiotics. He then had to go to the dentist to have broken and damaged teeth removed. We're glad we found you, dear Robin, and now everything will be fine! ❤️ Robin and Ricky have now moved out to the cat home. They stick together through thick and thin and are developing a little more every day. Both now allow themselves to be petted and brushed and move relaxedly around the cat home. They find it feels safe and cozy to go out into the outdoor run, and they do so for a while every day – together, of course! ❤️

SV·Show original

About Robin Fimaz

What life with Robin Fimaz looks like

Robin Fimaz is an adult mixed breed cat waiting at Katthem in Sweden.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇸🇪Adopting from Sweden

Swedish shelters require an adoption application and home visit. Animals are chipped, vaccinated, and sterilized. Cross-border placements within the EU use the standard pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Robin Fimaz, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Robin Fimaz?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Katthem handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Robin Fimaz on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Robin Fimaz if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Katthem will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Robin Fimaz already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Robin Fimaz isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Katthem early rather than rehoming privately; they know Robin Fimaz and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (SV). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
