Rocky, a charming dog with a big heart. Not okay with dogs. Not okay with cats. Not okay with children. His story Rocky is a magnificent Portuguese mountain dog, 3 years old, rescued from abuse in July 2022. He is a loving, very intelligent dog who quickly learns and develops when he feels safe. He just needs a chance and a gentle, patient, and loving environment. This 3-year-old Portuguese mountain dog, who was rescued from abuse in August 2022, is still waiting to find his forever family. During those years of abuse, Rocky was locked in the yard and received beatings, which made him very fearful and distrustful of humans. Thanks to the work and patience of our volunteers, Rocky has become a very gentle dog, close to humans, who loves cuddles and walks. This sweet dog still needs to work on managing solitude, as he may bark when left alone. Therefore, he will need a family that is present and able to take the time to help him flourish in his new life. We are looking for a family living in a house with a fenced yard in the countryside. Location only in area 13 or 83. Would you like to meet him? Rocky is currently in a foster home until he is adopted. Ce beau chien de montagne portugais âgé de 3 ans qui a été sorti de la maltraitance au mois d’août 2022, attend toujours de trouver sa famille pour la vie. Durant ces années de maltraitance Rocky était enfermé dans le jardin et recevait des coups, et cela l’a rendu très peureux et méfiant avec l’humain. Grâce au travail et à la patience de nos bénévoles, Rocky est devenu un chien très doux, proche de l’humain et qui adore les câlins et la balade. Ce loulou a encore besoin de travailler la gestion de la solitude, car il peut aboyer lorsqu’il est seul. Il aura donc besoin d’une famille qui soit présente et qui saura prendre le temps de l’aider à s’épanouir dans sa nouvelle vie.
