Roger - a little puppy looking for his big happiness Roger is one of six puppies from our Arbi and is allowed to spend his first weeks of life with his siblings in the care of our partner animal shelter Adoromimos. His mom Arbi previously lived with other dogs on a rural property in Portugal. The dogs were not neutered and so there was always unwanted offspring. As their owner increasingly had difficulties caring for the dogs and finding a home for the puppies, he asked Adoromimos for help. So the dogs finally came into the care of the animal shelter. For Roger and his siblings, this means above all one thing: They are allowed to grow up protected and well cared for until they are ready to start their own lives. And Roger? He enjoys his puppy life to the fullest. Play, discover, romp around with his siblings and then sleep content - his everyday life is just as it should be for a puppy. Roger is curious about the world and brings all that with him that makes living with a young dog so special, sometimes turbulent and above all beautiful. Now he only needs his own family. People who show him with patience and loving consistency how life outside the animal shelter works, and who enjoy discovering the world with him.

Roger – kleines Hundekind auf der Suche nach seinem großen Glück Roger ist einer von sechs Welpen unserer Arbi und darf seine ersten Lebenswochen gemeinsam mit seinen Geschwistern in der Obhut unseres Partnertierheims Adoromimos verbringen. Seine Mama Arbi lebte zuvor mit weiteren Hunden auf einem ländlich gelegenen Grundstück in Portugal. Die Hunde waren nicht kastriert und so kam es dort immer wieder zu ungewolltem Nachwuchs. Als ihr Besitzer zunehmend Schwierigkeiten hatte, die Hunde zu versorgen und für die Welpen ein Zuhause zu finden, bat er Adoromimos um Hilfe. So kamen die Hunde schließlich in die Obhut des Tierheims. Für Roger und seine Geschwister bedeutet das vor allem eines: Sie dürfen behütet und gut versorgt aufwachsen, bis sie bereit für den Start in ihr eigenes Leben sind. Und Roger? Der genießt sein Welpenleben in vollen Zügen. Spielen, entdecken, mit den Geschwistern herumtollen und anschließend zufrieden schlafen – sein Alltag ist genauso, wie er für ein Hundekind sein sollte. Roger ist neugierig auf die Welt und bringt all das mit, was das Zusammenleben mit einem jungen Hund so besonders, manchmal turbulent und vor allem wunderschön macht. Nun fehlt ihm nur noch eine eigene Familie. Menschen, die ihm mit Geduld und liebevoller Konsequenz zeigen, wie das Leben außerhalb des Tierheims funktioniert, und die Freude daran haben, gemeinsam mit ihm die Welt zu entdecken.
