Naam: Roosje Geboortedatum: 17/04/2026 Geslacht: V Vrij: Onmiddellijk Gecastreerd/gesteriliseerd: ja Gechipt en geregistreerd: ja Gevaccineerd: 2 × Deze kat verblijft in Assebroek Brugge. Voor deze kat zoeken we een thuis waar ze wel naar buiten kan in een veilig afgesloten tuin of koer als ze dat wenst. Karakter en achtergrond van de kat: Roosje, een klein wondertje met een groot karakter. Roosje werd geboren in de opvang, samen met haar broertje en zusje. Maar al snel merkten we dat er iets niet goed ging. Ze kwam nauwelijks bij en na een week was duidelijk dat ze een flinke groeiachterstand had. Onderzoek bij de dierenarts bracht de oorzaak aan het licht: Roosje had een misvormde borstkas, waardoor haar hartje en longen onvoldoende ruimte hadden om te groeien. Een operatie was haar enige kans op een normaal leven. Toen ze 1 kg woog, was Roosje sterk genoeg voor de operatie. Gelukkig verliep die succesvol. Op de RX was te zien dat haar hartje en longen nu de ruimte hebben om verder te groeien. Enkele weken later kwam het mooiste nieuws: Roosje begon eindelijk te groeien. Roosje heeft nu een normale levensverwachting. Ondanks alles heeft Roosje zelf nooit echt stilgestaan bij haar moeilijke start. Ze speelde, rende en crosste vrolijk door de opvang. Een klein dapper meisje met een enorme levenslust. Vandaag is Roosje een lief, speels en nieuwsgierig kitten. Ze is dol op andere katten en zoekt hen graag op om samen te spelen. Daarom zoeken we voor haar een thuis waar al een jonge, speelse kat woont. Roosje komt ook heel graag knuffelen en geniet ervan om op schoot te zitten. Maar daarna… hup, weer op avontuur! Spelen, rondrennen, ontdekken en nieuwsgierig zijn: dat is haar grote passie. Voor dit bijzondere meisje zoeken we een liefdevolle thuis waar ze volop mag spelen, knuffelen en verder kan uitgroeien tot een mooie, flinke poes. Roosje heeft gevochten voor haar kans op een normaal leven. Nu verdient ze vooral een leven vol liefde, geluk, speelplezier en een eigen warme thuis waar er een jonge speelse kat aanwezig is. Wie geeft dit kleine wondertje haar gouden mandje? Alle katten zijn ontvlooid, ontwormd, gevaccineerd, gesteriliseerd, gechipt en geregistreerd. Adoptieprocedure: Er wordt eerst telefonisch nagegaan of er een goede match kan zijn tussen jou en de kat, nadien kan een afspraak gemaakt worden voor een bezoekje zodat jullie met elkaar kunnen kennis maken. Bij adoptie wordt een adoptiecontract getekend en de adoptiebijdrage wordt betaald bij het afhalen van de kat. Iedere kat vertrekt met een Europees paspoort.
