Roosters and hens (5 months)

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Baby · 5 months

🐓 Rehoming Roosters (and Young Hens) 🐓 We were recently asked to take in a group of young hens and roosters who hadn’t had the best start in life – crammed into tiny cages with very little space. With care and kindness, they’ve flourished and are now ready to find their forever homes. At around 5 months old, they are friendly, sociable, and well used to a natural routine – enjoying their days out and about, then happily returning to their coops at night. Please note: ✅ Home checks apply ✅ You will need a flock number These lovely birds deserve the chance to continue their happy, free-range lives. Could you offer them a safe and loving home? 🐔💛

About Roosters and hens (5 months)

What life with Roosters and hens (5 months) looks like

Roosters and hens (5 months) is a very small puppy/kitten mixed breed animal waiting at Almost Home Animal Rescue NI in Belfast.

Every animal has their own temperament and history. The shelter knows Roosters and hens (5 months) far better than any listing can convey — ask about daily routine, ideal household, and what kind of adopter they're hoping for.

🇮🇪Adopting from Ireland

Irish shelters require a home check (often phone or video) and an adoption contract. Animals are vaccinated, chipped, and registered. Cross-border placements to mainland Europe require the rabies titer test (TRACES system).

Frequently asked

Adopting Roosters and hens (5 months), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Roosters and hens (5 months)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Almost Home Animal Rescue NI handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Roosters and hens (5 months) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Roosters and hens (5 months) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Almost Home Animal Rescue NI will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Roosters and hens (5 months) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most animals on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Roosters and hens (5 months) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Almost Home Animal Rescue NI early rather than rehoming privately; they know Roosters and hens (5 months) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
