Rosé

Mixed Breed · Female · Kitten · 4 months

Rosé is a 4-month-old female cat who came to the shelter with her sisters Lilie and Jasmin. They were found as stray kittens and have since settled in well, showing their curious, playful, and affectionate personalities. They enjoy exploring their surroundings and snuggling up together. While they may be sisters, they don't necessarily need to stay together. What's important is that none of them are left alone. They would ideally be adopted in pairs or with an existing, social, and similarly aged cat. Once they're older and more settled, they're eager to explore the world outside. They're looking for a home with outdoor access in a quiet area. What they need most is a loving home with patience, love, and time. Could they be coming to yours soon? Name: Rosé Number: K 331-26 Gender: Female Born: approximately 01.04.26 In shelter since: 01.08.26 Spayed: No Outdoor access: Yes Single housing: No

DE·Show original

About Rosé

What life with Rosé looks like

Rosé is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Tierschutzverein Wunstorf und Umgebung von 1934 e.V. in Wunstorf.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Rosé, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Rosé?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein Wunstorf und Umgebung von 1934 e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Rosé on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Rosé if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein Wunstorf und Umgebung von 1934 e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Rosé already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Rosé isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein Wunstorf und Umgebung von 1934 e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Rosé and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
