As an older lady, Roxy has some medical needs, but our team at the centre would be happy to discuss this with an potential adopters. She is housetrained and has previously been left for a working day. Beautiful Roxy is a 12 year old Akita who is ready to find her paw-fect retirement home. In true Akita style, Roxy is most happy enjoying a gentle potter, sniff and being miss independent. Roxy would like a home as the only pet as she doesn't really like dogs in her space, but she's quite happy to walk alongside calm and polite dogs. She could share her home with upper secondary aged children, as she likes the quiet life and can be worried by intense handling. She wears a muzzle for things like vet visits and is spending time making friends with our vet team.
