Doch mit der Zeit verlor sie Gewicht und fraß kaum noch. Deshalb wurde sie in die Pflegestelle aufgenommen und medizinisch versorgt. Ihre Zähne waren die Übeltäter, deshalb wurden sie entfernt und Roxy blühte wieder auf. Doch zurück auf die Straße wollte sie auch nicht mehr, nachdem sie sich den bequemsten Platz im Bettchen gesucht hat. Roxy ist eine sanfte Katze und nicht aufdringlich. Sie kuschelt sich gern nachts an ihre Zweibeiner und schaut, was sie tagsüber treiben, genießt aber auch gern mal ein Schläfchen. Die sanfte Katze spielt aber auch gern mal mit der Federangel oder einem simplen Band, da ist sie gar nicht wählerisch. Ihr Tageshighlight ist es aber, sich den Bauch von der Sonne wärmen zu lassen und das Treiben draußen zu beobachten. Mit den Katzenmädels in ihrem Alter, aber auch jüngere weibliche Katzen toleriert sie und verbringt auch gern mal einen faulen Nachmittag mit ihnen auf der Couch, mit den dominanteren Katern hat sie aber ihre Probleme, da sie leider schnell zum Mobbing-Opfer wird. In ihrem neuen Zuhause kann deshalb gern eine weibliche Katze in ihrem Alter vorhanden sein, ist aber kein Muss – Roxy würde durchaus auch als Einzelkatze glücklich sein. Für ihr neues Zuhause wünscht sich Roxy eher ein ruhiges und gemütliches Leben mit viel Schmusezeit, aber auch die ein oder andere Spieleeinheit sollte nicht fehlen. Was für Roxys perfektes Leben jedoch nicht fehlen darf ist ein gesicherter Balkon/Terrasse oder Freigang in sehr ruhiger Wohnlage.
