Despite everything he has been through, Rubio has never shown any aggression towards people. On the contrary, he loves getting cuddles from the volunteers. He is a dog who really enjoys human company. He also loves playing with a ball, his biggest passion! Rubio has average energy, making him the perfect mix of playfulness and calmness that every family needs. He gets along well with both male and female dogs and has never shown a negative reaction, so he would adapt perfectly to any type of family, whether it has children or other animals. Rubio has been with us for more than three years and he really deserves to finally get a family that will show him real love and the warmth of a home. Will you be his? Input November 11, 2022: This funny guy is Rubio. We don't know anything about Rubio's life before he came to the animal shelter, but one thing is certain, he came with a broken leg. Because it was an old fracture, it could no longer heal and there was also no operation possible to reset the bone. But Rubio is doing well, he can lead a normal life and he loves it. Rubio is a very active and playful dog, he is always jumping, running and playing with his friends. He is very social with every dog he meets and has no problem sharing his food or toys with the other dogs. With people he is very good, he loves being with the volunteers and giving them lots of kisses. He is so cute. Rubio has a little separation anxiety, he doesn't like being alone. We are looking for an active and loving family for Rubio who will teach him, maybe together with another dog at home, that being alone now and then is not so bad at all.

Asiel Malaga Animales y Plantas: Update 20 januari 2026: Ondanks dat Rubio jaren geleden in het asiel kwam met een gebroken poot weerhoudt hem dat er niet van een volledig normaal leven te leiden waar hij met volle teugen van geniet. Ondanks alles wat hij heeft meegemaakt, heeft Rubio nooit agressie getoond tegenover mensen. Integendeel, hij vindt het heerlijk om knuffels van de vrijwilligers te krijgen. Hij is een hond die echt geniet van menselijk gezelschap. Hij houdt ook van spelen met een bal, zijn grootste passie! Rubio heeft gemiddelde energie, wat hem de perfecte mix maakt van speelsheid en kalmte die elk gezin nodig heeft. Hij kan perfect overweg met zowel mannelijke als vrouwelijke honden en heeft nooit een slechte reactie getoond, dus hij zou zich uitstekend aanpassen aan elk type gezin, of het nu kinderen of andere dieren heeft. Rubio is al meer dan drie jaar bij ons en hij verdient het echt eindelijk om een familie te krijgen die hem echte liefde en de warmte van een thuis zal tonen. Wil jij het zijn? Omdat het een oude breuk was, kon deze niet meer genezen en er is ook geen operatie mogelijk om het bot weer te zetten. Maar het gaat goed met Rubio, hij kan een normaal leven leiden en hij vindt het heerlijk. Rubio is een erg actieve en speelse hond, hij is altijd aan het springen, rennen en spelen met zijn vriendjes. Hij is erg sociaal met elke hond die hij tegenkomt en hij heeft er geen enkel probleem mee om zijn eten of speelgoed met de andere honden te delen. Met mensen is hij heel erg goed, hij vindt het heerlijk om bij de vrijwilligers te zijn om hen veel kusjes te geven. Hij is zo lief. Rubio heeft een beetje verlatingsangst, hij is niet graag alleen. We zijn op zoek voor Rubio naar een actieve en liefdevolle familie de hem nog leert, misschien samen met al een andere hond in huis, dat af en toe even alleen zijn helemaal niet zo erg is.
