Bursting with enthusiasm and energy, Ruby has a big character to match her lively spirit and is always ready for her next adventure whether that be sniffing and exploring the woodland or out in the open air of grassland and fields. Ruby would thrive with an active owner who enjoys training and engaging with their dog. She is incredibly intelligent, eager to learn, and loves being busy, making her a fantastic companion for someone who wants to build a strong partnership. Being more of a Husky size, she can be a little strong at times, so she will need someone confident who can comfortably handle her strength and happy to use a long line or extendable lead during exercise in open areas. Ruby would need new owners who are willing to have an on-lead dog and walk in areas where Ruby wouldn’t be meeting off lead dogs as she can struggle with frustration in theses situations. If you love the quietness of open countryside walks, then Ruby may be the girl for you! Ruby is a very social lady with her human friends and builds bonds well with her handlers very easily. She likes to travel to nice places to walk and really loves her toys. So much so she has a daily pick of her favourite out of the toy tub whenever she goes past! Ruby would be bested to as an only pet in her new home and would be happiest in a home with teenage / young adult children or adult only home.
