He had previously suffered an injury to his leg, probably as a result of a traffic accident. The doctors who treated him, to put it mildly, did not live up to expectations, "wrote him off"... We took him in at the request of volunteers. Another operation was performed at a friendly clinic. The puppy is currently in a hotel. People remind him of the pain he has suffered, so he is fearful of new people. Unfortunately, his leg looks bad and in mid-November he will go for an orthopedic consultation with a good doctor. We will see if the leg can be saved... Rudolf is a gentle, kind dog. He is slowly regaining trust in people. He loves his caregivers at the hotel. We ask for support for this dog, who has endured a lot of suffering, fear, and mistreatment by people. This content is available in the following languages: Polish

Wcześniej doznał urazu nogi, prawdopodobnie w wyniku wypadku komunikacyjnego. Lekarze, którzy go leczyli, delikatnie mówiąc nie stanęli na wysokości zadania, „skreślili go”… Przyjęliśmy go na prośbę wolontariuszy. Rudolf to delikatny, miły pies. Powoli odzyskuje zaufanie do ludzi. W hoteliku uwielbia swoje opiekunki. Prosimy o wsparcie tego pieska, który ma za sobą pokłady cierpienia, strachu i złego traktowania przez ludzi. About Rudolf – przeżył dużo…

What life with Rudolf – przeżył dużo… looks like

Rudolf – przeżył dużo… is a puppy mixed breed dog waiting at Fundacja Przytul Psa in Wrocław.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

Frequently asked

Adopting Rudolf – przeżył dużo…, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Rudolf – przeżył dużo…?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Przytul Psa handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Rudolf – przeżył dużo… on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Rudolf – przeżył dużo… if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Przytul Psa will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Rudolf – przeżył dużo… already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Rudolf – przeżył dużo… isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Przytul Psa early rather than rehoming privately; they know Rudolf – przeżył dużo… and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
